It’s been a little over a week since I started using the Tria and I can confirm that, at least in the short-run, it is making a difference.
I am very pale and have very dark hair. When it comes to my underarms, I have to shave them every day, especially during the summer.
Although I didn’t witness any actual shedding, there is definitely less hair in that area than there was before I began. I last shaved 4 days ago and, as of this morning, there is hardly any stubble at all.
I’m not hair-free by any stretch but this is definitely a promising start. My legs took longer to treat so I’ll report back with any changes I notice there over the next few days.
Thank you so much for your review. I will be anxious to follow your results. I am still waiting for mine to arrive and I am having a bit of buyer’s remose — keeping my fingers crossed

Well, so far, so good. I’ll post again tomorrow with an update.
This product is not for the impatient. If INSTANT gratification takes TOO LONG, then this is not the product for you! LOL.
Still, I’m glad the company offers a 90 day return policy that should give you an adequate chance to try out the product.

Hi again. I received mine via Fedex right after I posted. It is charged, activated and I have just done a few test areas. I think I will mostly work at level 2 — I tried one area at the highest level and ouch, not quite ready for that yet; I am very pale (ivory on the skin chart) and have dark, thick hair. I will let you know how it is working (we can compare notes, etc.) DEB

Hi people,
Just wondering…how come some of you mention your got delivered by mail/fedex? I thought it was only on sale at selected spas/beauty centers…Can I order one online from someone? (I know over ebay but it’s at about $1500 there)

I signed up for the Tria website email list to be notified when the product would be available in my area. 2 days later, I received a phone call from Tria Customer Service. The rep told me that the company had a limited number of units available to sell direct if I was interested in immediately purchasing a Tria.
This was mid-June, 2008. The price quoted was $995US and that included Fedex Ground (Overnight was available for an add’l charge). I have no idea if this offer is still available.

Are those who tried the Tria back in July happy with their results so far?
