So, I’m still working on my 3rd round of treatment. I’m really focusing on my knees this time since it seems like those areas do not seem to be responding as well as the rest of my legs.
I’ll also be paying special attention to my bikini line. I am seeing some improvement there but, because I’m having to stick with level 1, the results aren’t quite there yet.
Thanks for any and all feedback about the Tria! I’m anxious to hear how effective (or ineffective) it may be before I commit to buying it.

Hello, i bought a Tria and have been using it for almost three weeks. I am a male and have done all of my bikini and privates. I used it around my belly button all the way down to below.I first used it on the lowest setting, and yes it can be very uncomfortable. I did decide to go higher to the next level, and some of it does bother you at times. It is a slow process, very time consuming. If your the type thats always in a rush, its not for you.
My belly button took to it very well, after my first zapping , my hair did not want to return.
I even did the hair around my nipples, and that went well. I also did my toes, that also went well. The hair did not grow back like it usually does after shaving. It took more than a week for some hair to push out.
I did my bush and testis almost three weeks ago and it almost has fallen out. I gave myself a second zapping this weekend. So i have given myself to zappings in three weeks. I usually shave myself every other day. I for sure have noticed my hair retreating. I does work and that is a fact for me.

I knew exactly what it was going to feel like because i had it done at a laser clinic. I had my underarms done and my legs, i hate hair. That cost me $3,000. They wanted another $4 to 5,000 for the brazillian and i was going to do it until I found the Tria online. So i decided to spend a $1,000 instead. Tria does give you 3 months to play with it. So why not. so far so good. I knew what to look for when i started, and how long it would take to see some results. When i did my legs, they were bumpy for about 2 weeks from the laser like if you shaved your bush, red and bumpy. The 3rd week was was when i saw the results, my legs were smooth, the hairs just fell off. I could never get that result for more than a week. It lasted almost a month and a half of no hair. i was so glad, That was my first session, I have five more to go. I bought what they call a guaranty. One whole year of as many treatments as i want. Thats after my sixth session, they space your sessions depending on where you are treating around 10 to 16 weeks. I am due for my second treatment the end of august. they are pretty good, My hair has started to grow back, out of a hundred percent, it looks like only 20 percent has come back. Laser is the way to go if you can afford it.

The Tria is the same kind of laser that laser clinic used on me. A diode laser, except that theirs is alot better. They just keep on going, they hold the button and slide it down your body. The Tria is single shot laser, put it on your skin, hear a begining beep then it zapps you with a final beep .Lift it off of your skin and do it all over again, there is no trigger. When it has seated itself properly against your skin then it starts. It wont shoot you until it has properly seated itself. Put it on your skin, let it zapp you then lift it off of your skin, do it again, and again, and again. Thats why you need to be a very patient person.

The actual laser that hits you is smaller than a dime, once you get going its sort of fast. As fast as you can lay it on your skin let it zapp you and lift it up and on again, its kinda fast. You need to overlapp what you have done, thats very important. If you bounce around you will lose out on your results. My skin down there is dark,so it hurts me more than a lighter person. The closer your shave the better, it targets dark hairs or even dark skin. You can burn youself if you have dark skin. So be carefull.

Please, You should learn some things!
You should only use your laser machine with 3 weeks interval!
If you use this today, the hair spend (2 to 3) weeks to fall down and to came another. Only in that time you should make another session!
Sorry about my bad english,
M., from Portugal

Actually, M, the Tria instructions state that it is recommended to wait 2-4 weeks between treatments and most of the participants in their studies waited 2-3 weeks.

Hey! How’s it been going since your last entry on August 5th?
Thanks for the blog review!

If the Tria works anything like the diode laser at a treatment spa you don’t want to be reusing it 2 or 3 weeks later. It’ should take 1-2 weeks for the damaged hair to fall out and then several more weeks for that hair to begin growing again. If you want to make sure you haven’t missed a spot I would double pass the area in once sitting, rather than 3-5 days later.

Thanks for reviewing this for the rest of us – I recently purchased the no!no! hair removal system, and it’s alright for arms, but definitely not good for coarse hair. I’m thinking of returning it now with the hopes of getting one of these…. question though – what kind of information (if any) did they take when you called to register? I’m from Canada and I’d love to be able to somehow get one of these across the border, but I’d be concerned about being able to activate it and if the warranty/trial period guarantee would be still honoured.

Hi, sorry to be so long between posts. I’ll update now.
I’ll just re-iterate: I am using the Tria according to the manufacturer’s directions. 2-4 weeks between treatments.
As for 2 passes at a time, it takes HOURS, literally, to make one pass on my legs.

BE WARE! The Tria only has a 300 charge battery life. I was told this after I bought it, so don’t share it!
