Long time no post…

Sorry about that.  Life’s been a little busy lately.

At any rate, my progress has slowed because I started school and haven’t had a lot of time to spend zapping myself.  I finished up round 3 a week or so after the last post and took 2 full weeks off before starting round 4.  I’m still working on my legs.

To date, I’m seeing the most progress on my armpits.  At a guess, I’d say I’m about 40% of where I was when I began.  There are ‘bald’ patches and the remaining hair is definitely thinner overall.

The legs are in a similar state but some areas are still hairier than others.

It’s been 3 months now and I’ve decided to keep my Tria.  I feel I’ve spent SO much time working on this that I should keep going.

However, I don’t really recommend the Tria when I consider the amount of time it takes to actually treat any area.  Yes, the product works, but, when I factor in the time spent zapping my legs and so forth, I am not sure that I am really ’saving’ all that much money.

  1. I’ve been using a Tria for almost 3 months now, and am finishing up my 5th round on dark brown hair and fair skin. I’ve always stuck to the highest setting (only tolerable with the Lido 4% cream I’ve been using), and I agree, this product does stop hair from growing for at least several weeks once you get 3-5 treatments done. I have 0% growth now in many areas (no more patchiness), including armpits, but it’ll take a while to know if the effects are long term or permanent. I also agree that the Tria doesn’t make sense for large areas like legs; it’s just too slow to recharge.

  4. I’m considering purchasing a Tria… but getting nervous because it doesn’t seem like I can find anyone too thrilled with the product. If I’m going to spend $800 – I want to hear about thrilled women!
